Having problems getting NDC codes submitted electronically?
If you have a 10 digit NDC code, it must be converted to 11 digits in order to submit electronically. See NDC Conversion Code Chart for details.
Are you using Emdeon products to submit claims electronically yet some are dropping to paper?
Verify payers are not routed to HPRNT or SPRNT. HPRNT & SPRNT are payer ids that can be set up in Emdeon products for claims that you would ordinarily have to print and mail. This allows you to submit them electronically yet instructs Emdeon to drop them to paper and mail. If a payer accepts claims electronically, the actual payer id (not HPRNT or SPRNT) should be set up in your system. See documentation below for instructions on how to set up payers for electronic submission in your Emdeon product.
